A simple solution

Introducing the UTOC

The Ultimate Thermal Organics Converter safely and sustainably recycles organic waste (anything not metal or mineral), including all plastics, municipal solid waste and sewage solids with emissions well below environmental authority limits, without requiring emission controls as all testing to date shows.

UTOC dramatically reduces our dependency on landfills, eliminating the methane and odours that go into the air, and the landfill leachate that can poison our soil and water. With no landfills, there are no vermin to spread disease. Plus UTOC can eliminate our reliance on open garbage fires eliminating carbon monoxide and other airborne toxins that affect our health.

This unique made-in-Canada solution is fuelled only by organic waste after startup. The UTOC vapourises waste using radiant energy in an oxygen-deficient chamber, then burns the vapours (smoke) at an extra-ordinary 1,350°C to maximize destruction of toxins and pathogens like "mad cow" disease, before releasing only clean hot gases and sterile ash. Electricity generated from UTOC energy output powers the computer and peripherals, making UTOC completely self-sustaining.

The UTOC also creates salable energy and ash that can offset the cost of the UTOC plant, and on a larger scale generate millions of dollars in net revenue each month. The clean hot gas output can be used to produce electricity, potable water, or heat buildings and greenhouses. UTOC ash can be an agricultural land nutrient or used as asphalt/concrete aggregate for bricks and roadways, depending on analysis.

Plus there are numerous opportunities for savings, including government carbon taxes.

With almost no fuel cost, the sale of by-products and energy, savings, plus carbon cost offsets, the UTOC pays for itself many times over, eliminating taxpayer project funding requirements as revenue/cost offset benefits commence the day UTOC projects go into operation.

The UTOC is scalable to handle any industrial or municipal application down to 5 tonnes of garbage per day.

UTOC is safe and easy to operate. Controlled by computer automation, with no internal moving or metal parts, operating under slight negative pressure, and including numerous automatic safety features, UTOC can be operated by entry level workers trained on UTOC.
